The Bahamas to host 2025 CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championship

The Bahamas will host the 2025 CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championship from March 11–16, 2025, at the Malcolm Park Beach Soccer Facility.

The Bahamas Football Association (BFA) proudly announces that the 2025 CONCACAF (Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football) Beach Soccer Championship will return to Nassau, The Bahamas, taking place from March 11–16, 2025. The six-day event is set for the Malcolm Park Beach Soccer Facility.

This premier event will feature eight of the region’s top teams battling for the title of CONCACAF Beach Soccer Champion and one of two available spots in the 2025 FIFA (International Federation of Association Football) Beach Soccer World Cup from May 1-11, 2025, in Victoria, Seychelles.

BFA Secretary General Frederick Lunn expressed his excitement about the event.

“Hosting the CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championship is a tremendous honor. It reflects our nation’s passion for football and our ability to deliver world-class events. We look forward to welcoming the region to our shores as we showcase the best of Bahamian hospitality and talent on the international stage.”

The participating nations are host nation The Bahamas, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Trinidad and Tobago and the United States of America (USA).

There will be two groups of four teams each competing in group play from March 11–13. The knockout stage will be held on March 15, and the semifinals followed by the third-place match and final will be held on March 16.

The Bahamas will face Panama in its opening match on Tuesday March 11, starting at 8 p.m. Following that, the team will take on the United States and Trinidad and Tobago in subsequent group stage matches.

The Bahamas last hosted the CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championship in 2023, a tournament that featured the United States claiming its third title with a commanding 5-0 win over Mexico in the final. The Bahamas reached the semifinals, achieving its best finish in the tournament’s history. The event drew significant local and international attention, setting the stage for another memorable edition in 2025.

The BFA held a National Men’s Beach Soccer Team ID Camp on December 28, 2024, where local players showcased their skills and competed for a chance to join the national team. The camp was a resounding success, highlighting the depth of talent and enthusiasm for the sport in The Bahamas.

“This is more than a championship – it’s a celebration of our love for the game. We encourage everyone to join us in supporting our team and experiencing the thrill of beach soccer in The Bahamas,” said Lunn.

The BFA is the official governing body for the sport of soccer in The Bahamas.
