Bahamian professional baseball player with the New York Yankees Jasrado ‘Jazz’ Chisholm Jr. continues to be among the Major League Baseball (MLB) leaders in home runs, knocking his seventh one out of the park on Monday.

Chisholm and the Yankees fell to the Cleveland Guardians, 6-4, at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio, on Monday, and then lost again last night, 3-2.

Over the two games, Chisholm had one hit in five at-bats with his seventh home run of the year. He is in a nine-way tie for sixth for the major league lead in home runs and is tied with Aaron Judge for the most on the Yankees squad.

Chisholm’s home run on Monday was a two-run shot, and pulled the Yankees to within 6-4 in the top of the eighth inning. However, they couldn’t score the rst of the way and the Guardians held on to win.

On his home run ball, Chisholm connected of a 91.2 miles per hour (mph) four-seam fast ball and drove it to right field. It had an exit velocity of 108.1 mph and traveled 383 feet.

The Bahamian is now batting .159 for the season with seven home runs and 15 RBIs (runs batted in). He has stolen five bases.

Chisholm and the Yankees will face the Indians again today. They will be off on Thursday and will then return to Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, New York, to host the Toronto Blue Jays in a three-game series over the weekend.
